I miss smiles. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
With a mask on, I can’t tell if somebody is smiling, or wearing the signs of a rough day. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
I always try to make eye contact and smile with as many people as possible while out. Now, there\u2019s no real way to do that. You can make eye contact, but they can\u2019t see if you\u2019re smiling at them, trying to make their day better. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
I hate that. I hate that now it\u2019s a new normal that we have to wear the masks, and can\u2019t try to brighten someone\u2019s day by putting a smile on my face.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
So, as we might not be able to do anything about the masks for a little while, keep smiling anyway. Try to smile so big you smile with your eyes and people can still see that you are trying to brighten their day. The world desperately needs that right now. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
