Live Your Passion

What were you made to do? What’s your passion? Big questions, I realize. But worth taking a look at.

The tag line “live your passion” is used for conferences and advertising, and I’m guessing most of us have heard it. Now, I’ve never been to a conference by that name. I’m not even sure all they discuss or teach. But the other day I came across these 3 words and they stopped me in my tracks. Suddenly they became real and resonated with me. Live your passion- Amanda. As if they were speaking to me. Personally, I believe this was a message from God to me.

My passion was always to be a wife and mom. And by God’s grace I am!!

And I believe that God can add to a passion, or shape it as life goes. For me, I now feel to truly live out my original “wife and mom” passion to its fullest, I must do 2 things:

  1.  Share Jesus and his love for us.
  2.  Educate others about having a toxin-free, healthy home.

So here goes…

Do you know Jesus? Like really have a relationship with him? Life is busy, I know.  It’s tough to have relationships with people you can see and touch.  But trust me, this relationship will eternally change your life and ultimately, positively affect all other relationships and facets of your life. You can reach out to me or someone who has this in his/her life; but the Bible is the best place to start.  And then do reach out to someone; please, please don’t go it alone.  Support for your new journey is so important!!

Are you on the road to a toxin-free, healthy home?  The first step is awareness. I am in my very, very, very late thirties.  (Sigh.) And honestly, it took me until having health problems a couple of years ago to really even give this any thought.  And then until this past summer to really do anything about it.  So I’m not judging, really!!!

And if you don’t care about having a healthy home, why? If not for you, think about doing it for your children, your family, and the friends whom you entertain. How about your own health in the future? (Harsh reality, but our bodies do change over time!! I know what all you young 20s are thinking…I thought that way, too, once!)

For our house, we are using essential oils whenever possible (and it’s very often possible) before reaching for an over the counter product, and we are transfer buying.

What’s transfer buying you ask?? Well, since we all just want to spend more money, said no one EVER, when we run out of household and personal care products, we replace them with better, non-toxic products.  Brilliant, isn’t it??!!  It’s all about wellness, and it’s been a game changer for my family and our health. See my Healthy Living page for more info on the company I am loving and buy almost everything though.  I would love you to join me on this journey and my passion really is to share what I’ve learned in this area with others. Bonus, if you are an AZ local, I’d love to meet up with you and chat in person.

And oils, O-M-goodness, don’t get me started!! I love them and will never be without them.  I use them in my daily living, ALL DAY LONG!  For immunity, for sleep, for creating a relaxing environment, and a million other ways; there is an oil for that!! And support- find support for this as well.  Just ask and I can get you more support and resources for learning about oils than you ever thought possible.  Don’t let those cute little bottles sit on a shelf without unleashing the magic!!

Ultimately, if you know Jesus and are living as healthy as possible, I believe this frees us up to do the work that God created us to do.  This will look different for each of us, but what a story we will each have to tell!!

So what’s your passion?? Find it and jump in- with both feet!! I cannot imagine not doing what I’m doing. I want you to feel the same about what you do.  And if you think sharing about having a toxin-free home, while contributing financially to your family is right up your ally, definitely contact me!  I would love to mentor you and have a spot with YOUR name on it.

So, “fiery redhead” or not, Live. Your. Passion!

Embrace life!
