My little guy had a very big day on Monday. He started 4 year old preschool!! I had another post set to go, but I had to give a shout out to my Asher! He had a great day and he looked super cute.
My goal each year (like many) is to have my kids get a special “first day of school” outfit. Unless they ultimately are at a school that wears uniforms, which I am highly considering. I get why kids wouldn’t want to wear them, but as a parent, I’m thinking it’s brilliant. But I digress…
So we went on our first annual back to school shopping trip. And he went right up to this shirt and said it was the one he wanted. Although it’s bright green, I think my little redhead wore it well. That, and his new Ninja Turtle shoes from Memaw, and he was all set!
The shirt is from Target. I think I’ve mentioned this before, but the boys XS (4-5) is great. The 4T or 5T for Asher is often too wide and short. As he gets taller, the XS option is wonderful! His shorts are from Old Navy. They have some great 4 and 5 options as well, that are longer for growing boys, instead of just wide with the “T” options.
Oh sweet boy, you are growing up so fast! I know, don’t blink, right?!
